Baking workshops for 2026

I am excited to welcome you to my home kitchen on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Bewdley, Worcestershire with free parking. This is where we will have fun learning bread and baking recipes for your life, in a relaxed environment. All materials and light refreshments will be provided. I often provide a homemade slice of cake, cookies or slab bake to enjoy in the break. You get to take your armfuls of bakes home to enjoy. If you have allergies or intolerances please don’t be shy about speaking up for them, every time. I shall provide my best service to accommodate your requirements.

To find out more or book your place, please use the form at the bottom or message me using the details on the contact page. I’ll send you more details about the workshop and payment details. More dates will follow for September onwards.

All sorts of bread – follow on from the bread for daily life workshop by mastering cinnamon sticky buns, sourdough choc chip cookies and a crusty bread tin loaf. Beginners are welcome too.

Take home your raw sourdough to fridge and bake the next day, your small baked sourdough, a whole focaccia and three or four flatbreads. Plus a pot of The Doorstep Baker’s sourdough starter, of seven years.

“One of the best courses I’ve done. Cooking my own bread weekly now and even experimenting with my own flavours of sourdough. Highly recommended.” Jayne, Bewdley, Worcestershire
