Hello I’m Cath and I’m a home baker in Bewdley, Worcestershire. I deliver my homemade sourdough loaves, croissants, fresh veggie soups and sweet treats within Bewdley, Kidderminster & Stourport. I’m a supporter of The Real Bread Campaign. I also sell at local Farmers markets and you can find my freshly baked classic sourdough at Bells Farm Shop from each Friday. For July the soup is swapped out of delivery & two individual quiches are swapped in. Homemade pastry filled with free range eggs, cheeses and seasonally inspired fillings

BAKED, COOKED, DELIVERED IT’S YOURS

Baking is a creative outlet. Cooking and baking for others is a wonderful feeling. People love a treat, people need nourishment, people want real food and people are busy leading other adventures in their lives. That’s where I want to make a difference to my local community. I make fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolate, soups, scones, cakes and seasonal bakes. I deliver them to homes in my local area of Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport.

I am a home baker making sourdough using the real bread definition. I am a supporter of The Real Bread campaign and I am permitted to display the real bread loaf mark. This assures you that I do not use additives that do not belong in real bread and sourdough. The result is bread that is hand crafted, using a long fermentation process, from my homemade sourdough starter. The prebiotics in this are good for gut health and it’s tasty! The additives and under proved dough of mass produced breads are left behind. Instead you get the care of a real and fresh craft food delivered to your door.

I also make fresh soups using different ingredients each week. Not to mention sweet treats that will be a delight to savour. With one sweet variety at each delivery, you will get to try something different each week. Sourdough croissants an pain au chocolate are the Tuesday menu. Tell me simply, how does it work?

You email The Doorstep baker to ask if you’re in the delivery area. If you are, I will email you details, so you can order. You complete these, email them back and agree to the terms and conditions. Once your details are confirmed I send you an invoice, to pay online, for the subscription you have chosen. This details the dates of your deliveries. Once you have paid, I will deliver to you once a week, usually on a Tuesday or Thursday late afternoon, depending on your subscription type. I will deliver until your subscription ends. You can then choose to renew if you wish.

During some months I am able to make some extra time to make, bake and sell to you at local events and Farmers Markets. Check my social media pages regularly to find out where.
